Shiji Expands Meridian Experiences with Scheduled Activities and Integrated Resource Commissions in Daylight PMS
New capabilities enable hotels to create, manage, and monetize group experiences while automating staff commissions, all within a single PMS workflow, laying the foundation for expanded golf and leisure functionality.
Berlin, Germany, junio 23, 2026 – Shiji, the global leader in hospitality technology, today announced the release of two new capabilities for Meridian Experiences: Scheduled Activities and Resource Commissions. These enhancements strengthen Shiji’s offering for full-service hotels, resorts, spas, and golf properties, enabling them to use Scheduled Activities and Resource Commissions for services such as golf lessons, while delivering more structured experience management and more transparent revenue operations.
With this product expansion, properties can now manage group-based guest experiences and staff incentive programs directly within the PMS, eliminating the need for external tools or manual tracking.
The new Scheduled Activities functionality allows hotels to offer and manage session-based experiences, such as yoga classes, guided tours, cooking demonstrations, or social events, all within the Daylight platform.
Unlike traditional one-to-one activity bookings, Scheduled Activities enable a single session to accommodate multiple participants, each with their own reservation, giving properties greater flexibility in how they design and monetize experiences.
Key capabilities include:
- Session-based scheduling with defined date, time, capacity, location, and assigned staff
- Real-time visibility into occupancy and availability
- Multiple booking workflows across planner, dashboard, and session views
- Full participant management, including transfers and bulk updates
- Lifecycle tracking from scheduling to check-out, including cancellations and no-shows
- Integration into the guest itinerary alongside other reservations
By enabling session-based experiences, Scheduled Activities provide a scalable way to grow non-room revenue, as a single instructor can serve multiple guests within one session.
Complementing the release of Scheduled Activities, the new Resource Commissions functionality introduces a complete commission management system directly within Daylight PMS.
Properties can now define commission structures, assign them to staff, and automatically calculate earnings based on services delivered or products sold.
Core capabilities include:
- Flexible commission structures (percentage-based or fixed)
- Automatic commission calculation tied to reservations and transactions
- Coverage across both service delivery and retail sales
- End-to-end lifecycle tracking from projected to processed payouts
- A centralized Commission Dashboard for review, approval, and reporting
- Full audit trail and permission-based access to financial data
In addition to improving operational efficiency, transparent commission structures incentivize staff to upsell services and retail, helping properties drive additional revenue while giving managers full visibility and control over payouts.
“Experiences have become a core part of how hotels differentiate and how guests remember their stay, yet operationally they’ve often been treated as an afterthought, managed across spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and manual processes,” said Bruno Martins, Senior Product Manager at Shiji. “With Scheduled Activities and Resource Commissions in Meridian Experiences, built directly into Daylight PMS, we’re giving hotels a single operational layer to manage how experiences are created, delivered, and monetized at scale.”
Together, these two capabilities extend Meridian Experiences into a more complete solution for managing ancillary revenue streams.
